President Trump continued his attack on Amazon via twitter that the U.S. Postal Service is loosing Billions, shipping packages for the retailer. The tweet read “…it is reported that the U.S. Post Office will lose $1.50 on average for each package it delivers for Amazon. That amounts to Billions of Dollars.” Though the President did not site any sources for his claim, Amazon maintained that the Postal Services does make money on its package delivery. More than $50B of Amazon’s market value was wiped out since the President started the twitter attack on the retail giant.
