Qualcomm is laying off 1000 employees
Qualcomm, the San Diego based chip maker is laying off about 1000 employees as part of the 1 Billion Dollar cost cut promised to its share holders. This moves comes shortly after President Trump passed an executive order stopping Broadcom, a singapore based competitor from acquiring Qualcomm. As of this writing, there was no WARN notice filed in California, which is a mandate lay-off’s of more than 50 employees.
