Thousands protest against Macron in Paris
Tens of thousands of people protested against France’s President Emmanuel Macron in central Paris. Almost 2,000 security force members and riot police patrolled the protests attempting to stall outbursts of violence. Smaller rallies took place in the southern cities of Toulouse and Bordeaux simultaneously. Macron government’s massive reform actions have spurred controversies in the country and have resulted in street demonstrations against Macron.
