Conclusion of the purchase of five S-400 Surface-to-Air Missile systems by India from Russia has evoked concerns from the United States. The deal is expected to be announced later. U.S. Arms Service Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry said that the U.S. has serious reservations about Russia’s S-400 missile system and India moving ahead with the deal could create complications. India has been discussing the issue with both the countries.
