Amazon Alexa for hotel rooms is here now
Amazon Echo devices will be placed in hotel guest rooms, according to a new program called Alexa for Hospitality introduced by Amazon. It has joined hands with Marriott International, with Marriott hotels in North Carolina and California becoming the first to execute the program. The devices will allow guests to perform tasks like calling the front desk, asking for hotel information, controlling the lights, or checking out of their room.
