Fyre Festival Promoter Sentenced for Fraud
The famous fest’s organizer and promoter, Billy McFarland was sentenced for his extravagant festival, as he promised hundreds of fans with a luxurious festival but sadly they were all left marooned on the island of the Bahamas. During sentencing McFarland’s team tried to defend him as he was not in the right mental health, but there was no way out not to be behind bars.
