Nelson Madela’s former wife passed away yesterday
Former wife of Nelson Mandela, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela passed away yesterday at a hospital in Johannesburg. She was 81 and was known as South Africa’s ‘Mother of the Nation’. Her family said, “She died after a long illness, for which she had been in and out of hospital since the start of the year. She succumbed peacefully in the early hours of yesterday afternoon surrounded by her family and loved ones,”
