13 killed in Libya’s Electoral Commission HQ suicide bombing
13 people were killed and many were wounded when the North African country Libya’s Election Commission Headquarters was attacked by a suicide bomber and other gun wielding terrorists. Gunfire broke out between the assailants and the security guards followed by a pursuit but the fate of the assailants isn’t known. The attack comes two days after UN special envoy Ghassan Salame visited Libya to convey international support towards Libya’s electoral process.
