More than thousand anti-Putin Protesters arrested in Russia

Alexei Navalny, the opposition leader of Russia was arrested in Moscow along with more than 1,600 Russians who protested against President elect Vladimir Putin, accusing him of an autocratic rule. Putin was re-elected in March with his largest ever victory margin and is due to be inaugurated on Monday. Protests against him have broken nationwide. European observers of the election have stated that the voters had no real choices.
