Nigerian village attack leaves 45 dead
The Gwaska village in northern Nigeria was attacked on Saturday leaving 45 people dead. The reason for the attack isn’t known. This attack follows a string of such incidents underscoring insecurity in the country. Apparently, the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has struggled to fulfill his election pledges concerning security. Multitudes of conflicts plague Nigeria including Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa insurgency.
