New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigns
New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman resigned on Monday due to allegations of physical abuse made by four women who had been in relationship with him. Two of the victims, Michelle Manning Barish and Tanya Selvaratnam said they had been choked and hit repeatedly by Mr. Schneiderman. Another woman said she was slapped violently and a fourth woman recounted similar experiences. Mr. Schneiderman has denied the accusations.
