FIFA 2018: Russia beats Saudi Arabia in the opening match
The 2018 FIFA World Cup hosted by Russia started with a win for the Russian national team by a 5-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. Russian player Alan Dzagoev was injured on the hamstring before the victory streak and then made a 2-0 before halftime. Russia is three points away from entering into the next round while Saudi Arabia has a tough start with a negative-five goal differential.
