IBM Artificial intelligence debates with Humans
Demonstrating AI debate system, on which IBM researchers have been working on since 2012, debates were held in San Francisco in which professional debaters Noa Ovadia and Dan Zafrir debated AI on two topics: whether space exploration should be subsidized, and whether we should increase the use of telemedicine. The competition followed traditional debate format. AI was voted to be more persuasive than its human opponent in the second debate.
